Welcome to the Murloc Stew Forums! Murloc Stew is a relaxed Horde guild on Bloodscalp, and our primary goal is good, clean fun. To that end, we try to hold weekly guild events, including instance runs, Alliance town raids, and Battleground runs. In addition, we hold some events on the sillier side, like Stampedes (low level Tauren "Running of the Bulls" - Moo macro required), Drunken Pirate Sailing (Ratchet and Booty Bay have rarely seen such a party), and our recent exploits during Brewfest. The majority of our events are organized to include characters of any level, and are typically also open to non-guildies, so watch for our advertisements in chat. Future event possibilities include guild farming runs (to help finance and stock the new Blizz provided guild Bank) and Dueling Tournaments.
That covers the "fun," now for the "clean." Murloc Stew strives to keep our chat channel clean and respectful, and members who do not abide by this policy are reprimanded and/or disciplined accordingly. Playful banter is encouraged, but not at the expense of anyone's comfort and enjoyment. We try to maintain a helpful environment, but persistent begging is not tolerated, whether for gold, run-throughs, items, or anything else.
General business and organization: Murloc Stew is currently fairly small, with members across all levels. Our goal in this regard is to maintain steady, controlled growth. Recognition and promotion in the guild is predominantly based on regular involvement, respect, and helpfulness. Senior officers assist with day to day decisions, and final authority on all promotion, demotion, and other recognition or reprimand rests solely with the guild president.
